О материале

Grade 7 Physics topic: Chapter I, § 1 “Physics, nature and life. What does physics study?” (E. Mambetakunov, B. Murzaibraimova, pp. 5–8). The word “physics” comes from the Greek word «φύσις – physis», meaning “nature”. Physics is the science that studies the laws of natural phenomena and applies them in practice. The term first appeared in the works of Aristotle; in Russian it was first used by M. V. Lomonosov. All changes that take place in nature are called natural phenomena. Galileo, Newton, Pascal, Torricelli and Archimedes, as well as the Central Asian scholars al-Khwarizmi, al-Farabi, Biruni, Ibn Sina and Ulugh Beg, contributed to physics. Technology is a way of applying scientific knowledge in everyday practice; the first technology in human life was the use of levers.
