A Grade 3 English topic: Unit 1 — «Max and Pex» (pp. 8–15).
Learners meet the characters Max and Pex, practise answering Yes. and No., and read and write the letters a, b, c. The first six words are apple, ant, bag, box, cat, clock. The unit also introduces the joining word «and».
