О материале
A Grades 10–11 Kyrgyz Language topic: «The spelling of proper names» (pp. 5–11).
This revision lesson gathers 25 spelling rules from grades V–IX, each presented through a «кеште» (embroidery pattern). The main rules: place names of two or three words take a hyphen and a capital for each word (Ысык-Көл); «уулу, кызы, паша» stand apart and in lower case (Кубат уулу); in the highest state titles every main word takes a capital (Кыргыз Республикасынын Жогорку Кеңеши), while ordinary institutions capitalise only the first word (Тышкы иштер министрлиги); holidays capitalise only the first word (Жаңы жыл); orders and medals take no quotation marks (Манас медалы); names of tribes and peoples are lower case (бугу уруусу).
