Material haqida
Grade 8 History of Kyrgyzstan topic: § 2 “The conquest of Northern Kyrgyzstan by the Kokand Khanate. Kyrgyz-Russian embassy relations” (T. N. Omurbekov, T. K. Chorotegin, pp. 7–13).
In 1822 the Kokandis built the Oluya-Ata fortress. In 1825 Lashkar-Kushbegi's army of 4,000 invaded the Chui Valley, and the Bishkek fortress was built on the Alamudun river near the mausoleum of Bishkek baatyr. In 1831 the Kokandis campaigned into the Issyk-Kul and Naryn valleys. The main reason for the conquest was the lack of political unity among the northern Kyrgyz.
The largest fortresses were Bishkek, Tokmok and Kurtka (1832). The embassy led by Kachybek and Jakypbek was received by G. I. Glazenap in Semipalatinsk on 5 January 1814. In 1824–1825 the embassy of the Bugu biys went to Omsk and returned to Issyk-Kul in August 1825.
