Дар бораи мавод
A Grade 1 mathematics topic: counting, reading and writing numbers from 0 to 20 (“Okuu kitebi”, pp. 10–16).
Learners practise counting, reading and writing the numbers from 0 to 20. They learn that “zero” means there is nothing at all. They pick up the rule for counting past ten: first count to 10, then carry on from 10 — which is why we say eleven, twelve, thirteen.
